Dear Esteemed Colleague,

It is our pleasure to extend to you this personal, non-transferable, invitation to the Global Spa Summit. This first-ever, truly global spa event is designed for business leaders from diverse industries such as hospitality, real estate development, investment, medical, consulting and more. The inaugural event will be held at The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City, May 20th - 22nd, 2007.

The Global Spa Summit evolved through years of dialogue among senior hospitality and spa executives worldwide who felt frustrated, as we did, that no compelling gathering for top industry executives existed.

With the guiding, international influence of the distinctive advisors of the Global Spa Summit, we have gladly taken on the initial work to form, fund and execute this first Global Spa Summit event as our gift to the industry. In coming years, it is our intention to transition the Global Spa Summit into a non-profit foundation, jointly spearheaded by industry leaders.

We sincerely hope that you will take advantage of this first meeting by contributing the unique perspective and wisdom that only you can add to the gathering. It is our objective to attract the keenest minds and most distinguished leaders from all parts of the globe and include your suggestions for our topical discussions. By joining together, we can help pave the way toward a successful and rewarding future for our industry, our businesses, the people we serve, and the planet we share.

OBJECTIVES

The Global Spa Summit is dedicated to the advancement of the spa and wellness industry on a global basis. Key objectives include the following:

  • Create community by fostering relationships among global industry leaders; Facilitate friendly dialogue and the exchange of ideas; Act as a catalyst for continued conversations beyond summit meetings.
  • Establish a common language and understanding across regions and continents, while retaining individual identities.
  • Create and endorse uniform measurement systems for performance tracking and benchmarking of spas world-wide.
  • Initiate, gather and trumpet quality industry research on a global basis.
  • Provide accurate and reliable information for the investment community.
  • Identify and assist in resolving issues affecting the spa and wellness industry.
